On May 31, 2026, at 4:45 a.m., West Earl Township Police Department officers responded to a disturbance call on the 200 block of Miller Road in Akron. A male, later identified as Allen Weatcher, was reportedly yelling through the walls, attempting to harass and contact his neighbors. Weachter had a prior history of harassment and stalking involving the same neighbors. Upon arrival, Officers tried to engage Weachter, but he refused to cooperate. A warrant was subsequently obtained, charging Weachter with felony stalking and misdemeanor harassment through District Judge Torrey Landis. When Officers entered the premises with the warrant, they found Weachter holding a knife, and he was taken into custody without incident.
