One of our core values is to constantly improve the services we provide to our community. 

That is why each officer of the Strasburg Borough Police Department is required to complete Daily Training Bulletins (DTB).  DTB are daily online training courses that review department policies and procedures, give real-world scenarios where officers would be asked to apply these policies to the situation at hand and finally test their knowledge of these policies. 

SBPD policies are constantly reviewed, analyzed and updated based on the latest statutory and case law, as well as, nationally accepted best practices.  Each officer’s training is tracked electronically and provided to their supervisor to ensure the training is successfully completed.
