On 7/4/26 East Lampeter Township amongst many other communities were affected by a major storm.  As such, there are several areas still without power to include traffic signals. 
 If you approach a traffic signal without power please use caution.  Several intersections have stop signs erected to help control traffic .  If you approach a non-functioning traffic signal without stop signs, it gets treated as a four way stop with right of way occurring to your right. 

Numerous roadways are blocked with barricades due to downed trees that are entangled in power lines.  Do not drive around barricades.  Use caution if travel is necessary.   Please be patient with emergency workers as they address power and traffic hazards.
