On March 23, 2021, at approximately 1314 hours, the East Cocalico Township Police Department responded to a vehicle accident at North Reading Road and Stony Run Road involving a tractor trailer truck and an SUV.   The driver of the SUV, Audrey Lewandowski, 86, from Adamstown, died from injuries sustained from the crash.   She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lancaster County Deputy Coroner.   The driver of the truck was not injured.   The preliminary investigation indicates that Lewandowski pulled out of Stony Run Road and her vehicle was struck by the tractor trailer.   

Police were assisted at the scene by the Reamstown Fire Company, the Denver Rescue and the Reamstown Ambulance.   Police are continuing their investigation and anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Sgt. Steven Savage at 717-336-1725, ext. 234.
