3 officers of the East Cocalico Township Police Department are members of the Lancaster County Crash Team. 

Each team is composed of specially trained and certified officers from police departments throughout Lancaster County.  The crash teams are dispatched for traffic accidents resulting in serious injury or death.  The members are certified in accident investigation and reconstruction for the purpose of determining the cause of the accident.
