Travis Lynn Steinmetz, 34, of Ephrata, PA, was charged with DUI, Driving While Suspended DUI related, and several other summary traffic violations for an incident that occurred in the Redner's Quick Shop parking lot, 1304 North Reading Road on 07 April 2022, at approximately 0140 hours.  Officers found Steinmetz slumped over in the drivers seat in control of his vehicle, in the Redner's parking lot.  Officers determined he was impaired and he admitted to using Methamphetamine.  Officers also learned he had an active bench warrant.  He refused a blood test and was turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Department.   If convicted, he faces an enhanced criminal penalty for refusing to submit to a blood test according to the Pennsylvania Implied Consent Law.
