Emilie Heinsey, 19, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with Driving Under Influence, Possession of marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary traffic violation after officers responded to a single vehicle crash on SR0222 southbound at mile marker 44.2, on August 29, 2026, at approximately 2:48am. Officers determined the vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway and struck the guardrail.  The vehicle then crossed both lanes of travel and struck the guardrail on the left side of the roadway disabling the vehicle.  Officers determined she was impaired and a blood test indicated levels of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana.  She was also found in possession of a vape that tested positive for THC.
