On Sunday September 6th, at approximately 12:31pm, Lower Chichester Township Police Officers were dispatched to the Wawa, located at 1439 Market St, for the report of a retail theft that had just occurred.  According to employees, the subject had used the self-checkout kiosk and only scanned and paid for a limited number of items, however, bagged and left the store with another $20.94 worth of items.

According to employees, the subject was sitting in a white sedan that was parked in front of the store.  Upon the arrival of Police, contact was made with the subject, identified as Kathryn Boccelli.

After obtaining a list of the items stolen and the items paid for, Officers spoke to Boccelli as she sat in her vehicle.  It was at that time that Officers could view, in plain sight many of the items listed as the ones that were not paid for.

Boccelli was subsequently arrested and charged appropriately according to her criminal history (the grading of the charge of retail theft increases as the number of times being arrested increases).
