On 8/21/18 Steelton Police were alerted to a possible 10 to 12 foot Python that was at large in the East End of Steelton. Police found this call to be a hoax started on the internet. Police want the public to know that there is no danger and this is just a rumor spreading around via word of mouth. Police feel there is no viable threat to the community.
