On Tuesday, April 20, 2021, Highspire Borough Police, received a report of a crash at the intersection of Second Street and Ann Street. Police arrived on scene and determined through an investigation that the striking vehicle's operator, Devon Starr Smith, was intoxicated when she crashed into an unoccupied vehicle parked along the (eb); north curb of Second Street. Smith was arrested and charged for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and several other traffic offenses. A preliminary hearing will be held at Magisterial District Court 12-2-02
