On August 3, 2020, Daniel Lee Shank, 58. of Gardners, Pennsylvania pleaded guilty to one count of patronizing prostitutes, 18 Pa.C.S. § 5902(e)(1), before Magisterial District Judge Michael J. Smith.  On February 26, 2020, Shank responded to an escort advertisement and subsequently provided $100 to an undercover detective with the expectation of receiving sexual services.
