On August 12, 2020, Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo, after consultation with the Dauphin County Chiefs of Police, conferred the following awards. Deputy Director of Public Safety Andrew J. Somma of the Susquehanna Township Police Department, received the 2020 Lieutenant Robert "Bo" McCallister Memorial Award for Outstanding Service as a Patrol Officer. Recently retired Detective Kirk Aldrich of the Harrisburg Bureau of Police received the 2020 Detective Samuel Thomas Kohr Memorial Award for Outstanding Service as a Detective. Deputy District Attorney Erin Varley received the 2020 Hon. LeRoy S. Zimmerman Award for Outstanding Service by a Prosecutor. Former Pennsylvania Attorney General and Dauphin County District Attorney LeRoy S. Zimmerman was present and gave remarks for the occasion. Sanford A. Krevsky received the 2020 District Attorney's Award for Outstanding Service by a Citizen. Family, friends, fellow law enforcement officers, and public officials were present for the ceremony with proper social distancing protocols observed.
