On 10/22/26 the Renovo Police Department investigated a 2 vehicle crash at Huron Av and 4th St in Renovo Borough. At 1634 hrs, a 2022 Toyoya Prius driven by 39 year old Anthony Blake of Shippensburg was driving westbound on Huron Av at 4th St. Blake turned his right turn signal on and began turning right, then suddenly swerved back onto Huron Av directly into the path of the vehicle traveling behind him. Blake did not use a left turn signal, nor did Blake ensure that it was clear and safe to make this turn before doing so. The vehicle behind Blake, a 2022 Jeep Cherokee driven by 58 year old Kimberly Davis of Renovo, struck the vehicle Blake was driving on the driver side rear.
The vehicle Blake was driving had a passenger inside as well, 67 year old Jenean Mace of Renovo. All 3 persons in both vehicles reported suspected minor injuries. All persons were wearing a seat belt.
Multiple video surveillance cameras were used by police to assist in the investigation and determine the sequence of events and the facts.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage. North Bend Auto towed both vehicles from the scene. The Renovo Fire Department and Renovo EMS assisted at the scene.
Traffic Citations have been filed against Blake for this crash.
