Mill Hall Police currently holds a felony warrant for JOHN MITCHELL POORMAN JR of Williamsport, the charges are the result of a criminal investigation that began on 08/25/26. The investigation led to POORMAN being charged with felony counts of attempted rape of a child, 2 counts of Aggravated indecent assault, Indecent assault of a child, attempt involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a child under 16yrs old, corruption of minors, and endangering the welfare of a child. The charges had been filed in district court 25-03-02.

Lycoming  County Court records reveal On May 2026, POORMAN JR was arrested on similar charges by Williamsport Police, records show POORMAN Jr was released by a Lycoming County District Judge on unsecured bail the same day.
