The North Coventry Township Police is investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the BB&T bank located at 1138 Town Square Road at approximately 1714 hours.  Police arrived and utilized NCPD's K9 to try and track the offender.  The track ended in the area of the Lowes parking lot.  The suspect is described as a black male approximately 30-40 years old wearing black pants and a gray button down shirt.  The suspect also had on a gray hat.  The suspect had a thin build and was approximately 5'10".  The suspect produced a ransom note that had wording in it about a bomb.  The suspect left the bank of foot in the direction of the Lowes with an undisclosed amount of money.  Anyone with any information on the robbery is asked to contact Detective Prouty at 610-323-8360
