Solicitor Permit Application

You are required to submit:

  • Completed Solicitor Permit Application.
  • Current Pennsylvania State Police criminal history/records check (obtained through PSP website at https://epatch.state.pa.us).
  • Valid photo identification must be presented at time of permit pick up.
  • Payment (check/credit card) is due upon pick up of permit. Permit is only valid from the time of purchase until the expiration date.
  • Solicitation Permit Fees:
    • 30 days, per license; $200
    • Per day, less than 30 days, per license; $40

Note: ANY false information submitted will be grounds for denial of the permit.

Along with your Solicitor’s Permit, you will be given:

  1. A copy of the Solebury Township Solicitation Ordinance.
  2. A current “No Solicitation” address list.
  3. Map of Solebury Township
  4. Solicitor’s Permit (must be carried with you while soliciting)

The above documents outline the Solebury Township Solicitation rules and regulations. Failure to comply will result in sanctions to include revocation of your permit and possibly all other permits issued to your company. Some violations may result in criminal prosecution.

ATTENTION SOLICITORS ANY AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR TOWARDS OUR RESIDENTS OR FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE RULES WILL RESULT IN A PERSONAL CITATION FOR THE VIOLATION AND REVOCATION OF YOUR PERMIT.

Any aggressive behavior towards our residents or failure to adhere to the rules will result in a personal citation for the violation and revocation of your permit. You will be receiving a copy of the Solebury Township Solicitation Ordinance and the No Solicitation Registry. I have read and understand the permit regulations form. I verify that the statement of the facts made by me in this application are true and correct and that they are made subject to the penalties of TITLE 18 PA C.S. section 4904 relating to Unsworn Falsification to Authorities. I further verify that I have not omitted any facts or misstated any matters pertinent to this application.
