On February 24, 2021, the Solebury Township Police Department received a report of a suspicious phone call. According to the complainant, his/her business was contacted by an individual that claimed to be a representative of PECO collections.
The alleged representative of PECO indicated to the complainant that he/she needed to produce a cash payment for alleged delinquent payments. Additionally, the caller offered local locations as options for the transfer of payment. The complainant was able to verify that he/she did not owe money to PECO and furthermore advised the Solebury Township Police Department of this circumstance.
