Fire Investigation Update:
The Solebury Township Police Department with Bucks County Fire Marshal’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal are still investigating the dwelling fire that occurred on August 2, 2018 at approximately 7:40AM. This fire caused moderate damage to a historic dwelling known as the Victorian Neely House located at 1632 River Road in Solebury Township.
The investigation at this time shows that this was an intentionally “set fire”.
Investigators are aware of two other fires that occurred near by. At this time there is no connection noted in regards to the other two fires.

Fire Investigation – August 2, 2018
The Solebury Township Police Department with the Bucks County and Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall’s are investigating a dwelling fire that occurred on the 1600 block of Route 32 (River Road) near Bowman’s Hill Tower Park.
The fire was reported around 7:40AM by a passing motorist. New Hope Eagle Fire Company arrived on location to find an historic two story dwelling on fire. This fire caused moderate damage to the dwelling which was unoccupied at the time.
The preliminary investigation shows that this fire is suspicious in nature, the Solebury Township Police are asking anyone who may observed suspicious activity, persons or vehicles in the area between 6:00AM and 7:40AM to contact us with that information at 215-348-7400.
