On May 5, 2021 at 12:45 PM Solebury Township Police Department received information regarding a missing person (David Nay) from Morrisville Borough, Bucks County, PA.

Reports indicated that a white pick up truck belonging to Nay was located at Washington Crossing Park (1635 River Rd., Solebury)

Officers arrived on location and found the vehicle unoccupied. An extensive search of the park land, Delaware Canal and River was conducted throughout the day/evening.

Solebury Township Police and Pennsylvania Department of Natural Resources (DCNR), State Park Rangers is continuing the search of the noted area today May 6, 2021.

Around 1:30PM on May 6, 2021 a search crew from DCNR and Bucks County Park Rangers located Nay deceased with in the search area of Washington Crossing Park in Solebury Township.

Solebury Township Police conducted an investigation into the death with assistance from the Bucks County Coroners Office. There is no concern or threat to the area or community and immediate family of the victim has been notified by Morrisville Borough Police.
