The Central Bucks Regional Police Foundation is holding a Comedy Night Fundraiser on September 16, 2022. One hundred percent of proceeds will go toward sustaining the Victim Services Unit.  In addition to the Comedy Show featuring Joe Conklin, there will be lite fare, cash bar and raffle.

The Victim Service Unit was established in 2019, a collaborative effort between CBRPD, Buckingham Township, Doylestown Township and Plumstead Police Departments. The program is funded through a grant provided by the Office of Victims of Crime, Department of Justice. The VSU has served over 900 victims of crime assisting victims to navigate the judicial system, accompany them through the police interview process, provide support and notification of court proceedings, link victims to community resources, and advise them of their rights as a victim.
