On January 11, 2023 the Hilltown Township Police Department responded to the Wawa located at 320 N. Route 313 for the report of a theft. Police learned that at approximately 7:45 am the driver of the pictured white flat bed style truck illegally accessed the control unit of a diesel fuel pump. This unknown subject bypassed the pay system and stole 342 gallons of diesel fuel. At approximately 9:10 am the pictured white Ford F150 pickup used the same pump. The operator of this truck bypassed the pay system as well and stole 261 gallons of diesel fuel. These thefts combined for a loss of 603 gallons of diesel fuel worth $3,079.52. Both trucks are equipped with aftermarket fuel tanks to store large amounts of diesel fuel. It is believed that both trucks are connected and working together.
