Hilltown Township Police were contacted by The Home Depot Store located at 782 Route 113, in the Hilltown Plaza Shopping Center, to investigate a Retail Theft that occurred on Friday, March 25^th. 2022.  The depicted male and female entered the store at approximately 2:40 p.m. and selected over $1,100.00 worth of DeWalt power tools, to include a pole saw and chainsaws.  They then exited the store without paying for the merchandise.  An observant off-duty police officer realized the retail theft took place and was able to recover the stolen merchandise in the parking lot.  The subjects were last seen entering a tan or light gold colored smaller foreign make vehicle with window tint.  Another male subject may have been waiting in the vehicle as the driver.
