On 02/02/2023, the Bedminster Township Police Department was contacted by a resident reporting they were contacted by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office regarding an arrest warrant for failing to appear for jury duty.  The person reporting to be a Sergeant with the Sheriff’s Office was seeking over $2,000.00 in Green Dot cards to rectify the warrant.  The scammer spoofed the Sheriff’s Office phone number, so it appeared to be a legitimate call.
