On Friday, September 5th, 2025, Bedminster Police responded to the report of Suspicious Activity. A township resident reported that three males of Irish descent arrived at the residence to convince the homeowner to have repair work done. They were described as “pushy” and would only work for cash. They first stated the work would be $7,000.00, then stated they would do it for $5,000.00. It was reported these same individuals were in the township doing the same thing towards the end of August. They refused to identify themselves or their business.
One of their vehicles is described as a white Mercedes-Benz work van with a ladder rack on the roof. There may have been two additional similar white vans as well. Officers canvassed the township in an attempt to locate the individuals but were unsuccessful.
These individuals do not have a permit to solicit within Bedminster Township.
