Spring Township Police Department has received notice of tree trimming/clearing that will occur in the township in the near future. Environmental Consultants (ECI) is working on behalf of PPL Electric Utilities to inspect trees and other vegetation near PPL's power lines to ensure continued safe and reliable electric service. Trees are a leading cause of storm-related power outages, so this work is critical.
