On March 17, 2026, a customer reported that they had received $60.00 in cash back during a transaction at a local business but forgot to take the money before exiting the store. The customer returned to the store to retrieve the cash but found it was no longer present.

Upon reviewing security footage, it was confirmed that the customer did indeed receive cash back during the transaction but failed to take it before leaving the store. The cash remained at the point of sale until it was taken by an unknown individual at 16:46.

The customer returned to the store the following day to inquire about the missing cash and was advised to file a police report. The incident was subsequently reported to the Caernarvon Township Police Department.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
