In an effort to better collaborate with the community, the Armstrong District Attorney's Office is asking businesses and residents with surveillance camera systems to consider registering the camera with the D.A.'s Office. Access to video following a crime can be the difference between the person(s) responsible being brought to justice or getting away with the criminal act they committed. Time is of the essence in obtaining video footage, as cameras often rewrite the footage in a matter of hours or days. The D.A.'s Office will not have access to your camera or be able to view anything on the camera without first coming to you and requesting to view what the camera has captured. Investigators would simply know where camera systems are located in the area to save time and expedite an investigation. To register your camera with the D.A.'s Office please click the 'CAMERA REGISTRY' button in the menu.
