***UPDATE: SUBJECT LOCATED IN GOOD HEALTH***

The Saranac Lake Police Department is attempting to locate Daniel S. Landolfe, 43. Landolfe resides at the Lakeside House in Saranac Lake and left early this morning for an unknown destination. Landolfe is 5'09 with red hair and beard. He was last seen wearing a green camping backpack, light green jacket, and sweatpants. He was last seen at approximately 730am in the area of Kiwassa Rd and Birch heading in the direction of St. Joe's. Landolfe is known to go off in the woods and does have a history of mental health. Saranac Lake Police have requested the assistance of the NYS Forest Rangers with freezing rain coming in. Anyone with any information is asked to contact SLPD at (518)891-4422. Residents in the area are asked to check any cameras and also their yards.
