Franklin and Essex Counties have declared a State of Emergency due to flooding from excessive rainfall in the area. There are not currently any road closings directly effecting Saranac Lake. Motorists are asked to travel with caution due to potentially flooded roadways. Roadways can flood quickly with little notice. If you encounter a roadway that is covered with water, turn around. Contact Emergency Services at 911 for any flood related or other emergency.
