If it feels like you are seeing more of us out and about this week and into the holiday weekend, you are absolutely right!

With Labor Day coming up, we have extra patrol units around town. Our goal is simple. If one stop for speeding, one reminder to buckle up, or one intervention with a distracted or impaired driver helps prevent a crash or save a life, we consider that a success for our entire community.

We are not out to ruin anyone’s weekend. We are here to make sure you get to enjoy it safely. So please:
• Slow down
• Buckle up
• Keep your eyes on the road
• Never drive impaired
And if you notice a few more patrol cars than usual, feel free to give us a wave. We will be out there looking out for the safety of you and your family.
