We are proud to welcome Officer Steven Lopez and Officer Kilton Korthank to the Cortez Police Department. Both recently graduated from the Pueblo Law Enforcement Academy at Pueblo Community College in Pueblo, Colorado, where they have been living and attending classes since August 2025.

Their dedication and hard work earned them both academic awards, maintaining an impressive average of 90 and above on all exams and assignments throughout the program.
