As your Cortez law enforcement agency, we appreciate the City Council for providing steady leadership that helps keep our community safe and running well. The City of Cortez municipal election will seat five of seven City Council members, and these elected officials make decisions that directly affect core city services, including public safety, water, streets, and sanitation.
Ballots have been mailed to Cortez residents. Please take a moment to fill yours out and return it to City Hall at 123 Roger Smith Avenue by April 7, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
