A teenage Indigenous girl, 17-year-old, Shaylin Odell was reported missing on April 28th, 2026, after multiple missed appointments, lack of school attendance, and no confirmed sightings for several days.
April 15: Last confirmed in‑person sighting by her mother before a scheduled appointment.
April 16 & 23: Missed appointments.
April 22–23: A relative last saw her when dropping her off in Towaoc, CO.
April 25: A final message was received from her using someone else’s phone, stating she had lost her own.
April 28: Entered into NCIC/CCIC as a missing Indigenous juvenile.
Attempts to locate her through her cellphone provider were unsuccessful and BIA officers searched locations in Towaoc with no results.
Last Known Appearance
Clothing: Black sweatpants, Black sweatshirt, Black and white Nike shoes and has recently dyed her hair black.
