Thursday 4.17/25 - Update 4:03pm - Fire and emergency services continue to work on scene at Gustavo's Cortez.  Highway 160 - Main Street is still closed from Market to Washington.  

Update 3:04pm - Main Street closure from Main Street to Washington Street. (Loungin' Lizard to Ocean Pearl restaurants)
Traffic lights may remain red in areas of Main Street due to the emergency vehicles responding to the fire. (Chestnut Street)  Dispatch has been notified. 

A fire has been reported at 125 East Main Street - Gustavo's Mexican Restaurant.  Cortez Fire Protection District and Emergency services are on scene. 

Main Street will be temporarily closed from Market to Madison Street to allow emergency services to work safely. Please use alternative routes. (Montezuma Avenue and 1st or 3rd Streets)
