Rachel M Weiss, 39, of Ephrata, PA was charged with Simple Assault, Criminal Mischief, and Public Drunkenness after an incident that occurred at a business in the first block of North Reamstown Road.  On February 9, 2019 at 0313 hours, East Cocalico Police were dispatched for an assault which had just occurred.  Officers arrived and spoke to the victim who had minor injuries to his face and arm.  The victim and witnesses told Police that Weiss punched and bit the victim.   She also broke a door handle to a parked vehicle.   All of the above allegations were substantiated by surveillance video.   

Weiss was located in the parking lot.  She was screaming and cursing at people and appeared very intoxicated.   Weiss was transported from the scene.   She was sent a summons to appear in District Court.
