John T Andrew, 22, of the first block of North Ridge Road in East Cocalico Township was arrested on a Probation Violation at his residence on November 23, 2017.  At approximately 1443 hours, Officer Steve Walsh witnessed Andrew inside a vehicle at that address.  Officer Walsh took Andrew into custody on an outstanding Lancaster County Bench Warrant.  Andrew, who is a convicted felon, was in possession of two weapons, including a modified loaded AK-47 and a loaded 9 mm handgun.  He was also in possession of a substantial amount of drugs including Methamphetamine, Heroin, Synthetic Marijuana, and Psilocybin mushrooms.   

Andrew was transported to the Lancaster County Prison on the outstanding warrant.  He faces numerous weapons and drug charges.   Officers from Ephrata Police Department assisted at the scene.
