On October 15th, at approximately 6pm. Officers of The Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to The Best Western in Tannersville for a report of a physical domestic dispute.

Upon arrival contact was made with a male walking away from the hotel. After an investigation it was determined that Edward Dalcero, a 52 year old male from New Jersey had physically assaulted his ex-girlfriend in a hotel room.

Dalcero was taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor Simple Assault and summary charges for harassment, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. Dalcero was placed in Monroe County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. 

All arestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
