Elijah Velez, 42, of Reading, PA, is charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking following an investigation into the theft of an HVAC evaporation coil system from a residence on Ironwood Court in East Cocalico Township.  Investigators reviewed exterior surveillance footage, which enabled them to identify Velez, as the individual who walked alongside the residence, removed the HVAC component, carried it to his vehicle and fled the scene.  The HVAC evaporation coil system is valued at approximately $500.   A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
