The Hanover Township Police Department arrested 36-year-old MICHAEL GRIFFITH following an incident near the Interstate Blood and Plasma Center on Carey Ave.

Officers attempted to take GRIFFITH into custody on two active arrest warrants. He fled but was apprehended during a foot pursuit. 

GRIFFITH was charged with Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Resisting Arrest, Evading Arrest or Detention on Foot, and Disorderly Conduct.

He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Joshua Moses, who set bail at $25,000 unsecured. GRIFFITH was then transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility to be held on the two active warrants.
