On June 23rd, 2026 The Collaborative Autism Movement (C.A.M.) generously donated 5 sensory bags to the Stroud Area Regional Police Department. These bags will greatly assist officers on the street when dealing with those on the Autism Spectrum. This will greatly enhance the ability of officers to communicate and handle those calls and emergencies with those that have autism and provide the necessary assistance and treatment that may have taken longer to do without these tools. The bags contain a weighted blanket, noise cancelling headphones, sunglasses, communication cards, an instruction sheet and also sensory toys.
C.A.M. is a non for profit organization that builds these bags and provides them to police departments as funding is available. Soon, every State Police Barracks in PA will have bags provided to them and C.A.M. is raising funds to be able to try and outfit every municipal police department in PA with bags. They are also providing bags to EMS, Fire Departments, and Hospitals to be able to better handle the situations that involve those with Autism and relieve those anxieties and stresses that come with emergencies.

The Stroud Area Regional Police Department thanks C.A.M. for this generous donation to assist our officers with being able to communicate more efficiently with our community.
