Incident Summary

Hudson Officers responded to a report of fraud activity at Pit Stop Liquor. An employee, a 45-year-old male, was found to have swapped a counterfeit $100 bill with a legitimate one from the cash register.

The individual admitted to making the switch due to financial difficulties. Upon investigation, the real $100 bill was recovered from the suspect's possession and returned to the store.

The suspect was taken into custody and charged with Forgery and Theft. He was subsequently booked into the Weld County Jail.
