#NeverForget 🇺🇸 On this solemn 24th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we honor the 2,977 lives lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, as well as the six lives taken in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. We hold close the memory of the innocent—office workers, airline passengers, first responders, and everyday heroes—whose lives were forever altered that day. 💙
We pay tribute to the extraordinary courage of the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and volunteers who ran toward danger to save others, many sacrificing their lives. Their bravery continues to inspire us. We also stand with those still living with the enduring impact of 9/11: the survivors who carry physical and emotional scars, the first responders and recovery workers battling 9/11-related illnesses, and the families who navigate their grief with resilience. Over 100,000 individuals were exposed to toxins at Ground Zero, and thousands continue to face health challenges, supported by programs like the World Trade Center Health Program. Their strength is a testament to the human spirit.
Let’s pause at 8:46 AM, when the first plane struck the North Tower, and throughout the day to reflect on the lives lost and the heroes still among us. Share stories of kindness, support 9/11-related charities, or join a moment of silence with #RememberTheSky and #NeverForget911. Together, we keep their memory alive and uplift those who carry on.
