Two New Officers Sworn In
Join us in welcoming the two newest officers to the Cortez Police Department. Officer Trevor Horton (L) and Officer Kiernan Korthank (R) were sworn in this morning by Cortez City Court Clerk, Carla Odell. The two officers graduated from the Southwest Regional Law Enforcement Academy at Pueblo Community College Southwest on Sunday, June 1, after five months of training at the Academy. They will begin their field training next week. The next available law enforcement classes start in August.
