Attempted Theft of Vehicle - Upper York Road, Solebury Township

On Thursday morning November 28, 2024, the Solebury Township Police Department received information of an attempted theft of a vehicle in the 6500 block of Route 263 (Upper York Road).

According to the investigation, an unknown individual attempted to gain entry/steal one or two vehicles a from our residents’ driveway. The suspect was described as a mid-20-year-old black male.

The attempted theft was thwarted since both vehicles were locked, and activation of the motion lights/camera. The incident is currently under investigation, and police are reviewing available surveillance footage to identify the suspect.
