Plumstead Township Police Department Participates in National Drug Takeback Event

The Plumstead Township Police Department is proud to participate in the National Drug Takeback event on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This initiative aims to provide a safe and convenient way for residents to dispose of unused, unneeded, or expired medications.

The drop-off location for Plumstead Township will be CVS Pharmacy, located at 4361 Swamp Road. The process is easy and convenient: simply pull up to the drop-off location, place your medications into the box, and drive away.

In addition to prescription medications, we will also be collecting over-the-counter medications, pet medications, vitamins, vaping devices, and more.

If you are unable to participate in the Take Back Day event, don't worry! You can still safely dispose of your medications and sharps at our collection box located in the Police Department entrance. This box is available 8:30am-4:30pm.

We encourage all residents to take advantage of this opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted medications and help prevent drug abuse and overdose.
