The North Charleston Police Department's (NCPD) Traffic Unit is currently probing a deadly collision that took place over the weekend.

Early Sunday morning, around 3 a.m., officers were dispatched to Rivers Avenue near Trident Technical College, where a single vehicle had crashed into a tree. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision.
