To our residents of West Manchester Township: 

We want to tell all of you that we are here for you during this crisis and will be here for you no matter what we face as a Police Department.  Our service will be 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as always.  This agency will see this situation through and will stand by anyone that needs assistance, day or night.  Our Officers are dedicated, professional Police Officers and I am privileged to be a part of this organization every day.

Due to the increased danger of Officers being exposed to the COVID-19 virus, we may request phone calls for some calls for service where we would otherwise stop by personally but we will still respond to other calls as normal and Officers will appear as needed.  Please understand that it is imperative that our first responders remain healthy for the safety of the community and the ability of the department to function. 

I would like to thank our community partners Walmart and Target for providing some much needed cleaning and personal supplies for the Officers.  I do not know where we would be without your generosity and help.

I need to notify the public that Wellspan will have a drive through COVID-19 testing station at the York Expo Center starting this Friday, March 20, 2020.  Citizens that are experiencing symptoms should contact their family doctor and obtain permission before arriving at the center.
