West Manchester Township Police Department participates in the Metropolitan York Police Testing Consortium when filling open police officer positions.  This consortium is made up of departments from across York County that cooperate to give candidates the opportunity to apply for employment with several agencies at one time for one cost. 

The consortium generally accepts applications for the position of police officer on an annual or semi-annual basis.  The next test will be administered on September 12 and September 19, 2026.  For more information on the consortium, and to start the application process, please visit www.yorkpolicejobs.org.
