Beacon Hill Boulevard is scheduled to close on March 2, 2026 for maintenance on the bridge that crosses the Yellow Breeches Creek.  It is expected to remain closed until June 30, 2026.  

While this will primarily impact residents in Cumberland County, there are two detours in place for traffic coming from York County.  All traffic EXCEPT tractor-trailers should travel east on Limekiln Road to Poplar Avenue.  Then north on Poplar Avenue.  The detour for tractor-trailers will be I-83 South to Lewisberry Road.  Then east on Lewisberry Road to Old York Road and then north on Old York Road into Cumberland County.
