The Pike County Probation Office is committed to publicizing services available to inmates, re-entrants, and those on Probation, to assist them in navigating their path to rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.
To this end Choosing Integrity, a local non-profit offers a range of programs and resources designed to address the unique challenges faced by justice-involved individuals; following incarceration, to find support, connection, and direction.
Their peer support program pairs (certified) individuals with peers who have been through the reentry and recovery process themselves. They understand the challenges firsthand and are there to listen, encourage, and walk alongside participants as they rebuild their lives.
They also offer SMART Recovery® meetings — safe, confidential, and voluntary groups that teach practical tools for making healthy choices and maintaining recovery. The meetings are held every Wednesday at 6:30 PM at 105 West High Street, 2nd Floor, Milford and on Zoom (email info@choosingintegrity.org for the link)
Choosing Integrity’s approach is simple: support from people who’ve been there makes all the difference.
